ABOUT

Dimitrios studied in the field of photography in Athens. After completing his studies, he moved to London where in 2013 he launched his photography business. He focused on assisting interior designers and architects in creating and elevating their luxury portfolios, and real estate firms in achieving record sales.

His unique eye for detail along with his photography experience and skills, and of course his passion for interior design and the idea of the perfect home, have worked in perfect harmony to create a successful interior, architectural, and real estate photography business. His success and expansion enabled him to take on projects in various locations around the world, with several projects in Germany, Greece, Dubai, Spain, Poland, and of Course majority of his work in the United Kingdom.

LIGHTING

The use of light in photography and how it interacts with the built environment is extremely important to him. Dimitrios produces natural-looking imagery that best represents the true ambience of a space by utilising natural light whilst also using a flashlight sparsely and intelligently to maintain and preserve the unique qualities that natural light offers.

COMPOSITION

Meticulously Paying attention to the lines and shapes created by the architecture, Dimitrios always seeks for interesting patterns, repetition, and symmetry to add visual interest and achieve perfect harmony in his images. Furthermore, the placement and alignment of all accessories and objects in relation to one another and the surrounding environment are highly considered and manipulated. Colour is another significant factor that designers and stylists put due consideration and time into getting right. Dimitrios appreciates this and uses colour-correcting tools whilst shooting onsite to ensure The colours are accurately represented throughout all his imagery. 

EQUIPMENT

Camera equipment is frequently upgraded to enable him to continue to create the highest quality of imagery. Currently, Dimitrios shoots on the latest mirrorless camera (CanonR8) and uses a selection of specialist architectural lenses depending on the requirements of the client.
