WORKFLOW PROCESS

Selecting the right photographer to capture your creative vision can be a challenging task. Given the time and dedication invested in bringing your ideas to life, it's crucial to choose a photographer who can effectively showcase your hard work and deliver the desired images. If you're considering working with me, I’ve created a comprehensive guide detailing what you can expect from Dimitrios’ Photography. My company ethos revolves around ensuring your confidence and comfort, keeping you in control throughout the entire process. I strive to ensure your satisfaction with the final images, making sure they align perfectly with your brand. This guide is intended to be a valuable resource for anyone seeking an interior or architectural photographer or simply curious about my approach.

1.The Photography Brief

Before commencing any work, understanding the specific requirements of each shoot is crucial. I provide a questionnaire to confirm details such as start time, access information, and desired image quantity. Depending on the available details, a site recce may be recommended as an additional service. This involves a walk around the site, capturing candid photographs and lasting 1-2 hours, contributing to a more efficient shoot. With this information, I can create an accurate estimate for your approval.

2.Prepare for Shoot Day

Upon approval of the brief and estimate, I ask clients to prepare the property for the shoot day. Cleanliness and tidiness are essential, including dusting surfaces, cleaning windows, and making beds with minimal creases. Adequate styling preparation is crucial for an efficient shoot, avoiding over-styling and aiming for a natural, "lived-in" appearance. While I don't offer a styling service, I can provide advice based on my experience working alongside various designers.

3.The Photography Shoot

I conduct the shoot according to the agreed-upon plan or in correlation with the sun's movements, tracked using a Sun-related app. Multiple exposures are taken for each composition, layered in post-production for optimal results. Natural light is preferred, with the use of flash when necessary. Adjustments to styling are made for each composition to ensure continuity.

4.Initial Image Approval (optional)

After the shoot, you receive all images to select shots for post-production and licensing through my customised approval software.

5.Post Production

Using specialised editing software, I perform the standard post-production, including lens corrections, dust removal, colour and exposure adjustments, sharpening, and artifact removal. Premium post-production services for larger objects are available on a case-by-case basis.

6.Approval Stage 1

Edited images are sent for your review and comments.

7.Approval Stage 2

Final adjustments are made based on your feedback and sent for re-approval.

8.Delivery of Completed Images

The final high-resolution (for printing and advertising) and low-resolution (for web) images are delivered. Other resolutions and sizes are available upon request. These steps ensure the production of high-quality photography tailored to my clients' needs while avoiding automatic compression from the platforms where you intend to use the imagery.
